"Bau nanuma na nodatau lasa" – “beautiful moments that last for an eternity..." says a Fijian folksong.
Dietrich Mateschitz, the founder and head of Red Bull, acquired this South Seas pearl in 2003 and created a paradise for himself and his guests. The conservation of the natural environment and the respect for the culture of the multi-cultural inhabitants had and have top priority.
On the island there are 25 private residences, which all have an individual design. When the island was planned, a high value was set on guaranteeing the privacy of each villa. In some of the residences you are so secluded that you might think you are stranded alone on a South Seas island – but on a much higher standard than Robinson Crusoe at his time.
The residences are situated in a natural environment with their own private beach sections and a wonderful view over Indigo Bay.
Various activities such as horse riding, different water sports and tennis are offered on the island. For golf lovers there is a 18-hole golf course and a driving range.
Moreover, there are three excellent restaurants, where nothing is left to be desired. The three bars are quite different and have a unique and special atmosphere. The pool area is impressive and a wonderful place to relax during the day. There is also a spa- and wellness area, which would even in Asia set new standards.
Each residence was named after its location on the island. In the evenings, when it gets dark, torches in the gardens of the residences create a romantic ambience.
