The elegant villa Fontelunga is situated in a remote valley, far away from the main roads, in a traditional Tuscan setting. Due to this unique location, the villa offers breathtaking views of the Tuscan landscape right up to Cortona, which is on the other side of the valley. The former manor-house Fontelunga was transformed into a noble villa, in which traditional style elements and modern design are combined in a unique way.
The eight Double-rooms of the villa accommodate up to 16 people. On demand it is also possible to rent an additional suite in the adjacent building for two more guests. The rooms of the villa have a classic character and each has an individual design. All of the Double rooms provide a view on two sides of the surrounding gardens and hills. All rooms are equipped with air condition, CD Player, telephone and a modern bathroom with shower or bathtub. The former wine cellar, which previous landowners used to store wine barrels, is now an elegant lounge with comfortable sofas, television, video and an open fire. In the cooler months, it is sometimes used as dining room. However, almost all year round breakfast and dinner take place on the large terrace or in the brick air trap with an open fire. In the spacious garden of the estate there is a swimming pool with comfortable sun beds and a tennis court for guests who want to be active.
