The enchanting country house from the 14th century has an outstanding position on the top of a hill, from where it dominates the lovely landscape. The picturesque village Ponte d’Arbia is within short walking distance. La Rosa has been renovated with great attention to detail and is furnished with precious antiques. Many parts of the house were intricately crafted by hand, for example the flooring of the living- and eating room, which is a combination of wood and handcrafted terracotta tiles. It was the owner himself, who designed the interior and the color composition. The gentle ‘Siena Yellow’ of the walls supports the light-flooded rooms and goes perfectly with the wooden beams at the ceiling and the terracotta floor.
All tiles in the kitchen and the bathroom are handmade, unique pieces from Naples. The outdoor area with a garden and swimming-pool are very much looked-after. The country house provides central air condition, which supplies the bedrooms on the first floor as well as heating, which makes it possible to rent the villa all year round.
