The charming villa Molino d’Ambra is a typical Tuscan country house, which is embedded in a quiet, peaceful environment in an extensive hilly landscape on the boarder to Chianti. The antique charm of the house is still intact, since during the renovation work a lot of attention was paid to the manufacturing of traditional materials and the existing architectural style.
The villa is situated in the region Val d’Ambra, which was named after the river that runs through the valley before it joins the Arno. The area is ideal for extensive hikes through the lovely hilly landscape or for day trips to Siena, Arezzo and Florence. The ancient village Ambra, which in the past consisted only of a castle, has developed into a small village with boutiques and small restaurants. It is only a stone’s throw away from the villa.
Also the interior of the country house was renovated with careful attention to detail and style. The interior is a combination of rural and antique furniture. The colorful walls and the hand-made tiles create a cozy atmosphere. Next to the spacious swimming pool there is a BBQ area with a wooden pizza-oven, which is ideal for a nice evening with friends. Afterwards you can relax in the sauna and end the day in a nice way.
Molino d’Ambra is completely fenced and accessed through an electric gate.
