The villa is only approx. 15 minutes away from the city of Lucca, approx. 35 minutes away from Pisa and the sea and 1 hour and 10 minutes away from the centre of Florence.
In San Macario in Monte there is a small delicacies restaurant, a bakery, two butchers, a general store and a petrol station. In about 10 minutes distance, towards Lucca, there is a COOP supermarket.
